Services

JMDL Tax provides tax-related services including but not limited to:

  • Bookkeeping Support

  • Payroll Tax Support

  • Sales Tax Support

  • IRS Notice Review and Response Support

  • Tax Record Organization Support

JMDL Tax may provide services directly or through qualified tax professionals, preparers, consultants, partners, or authorized representatives where applicable.

No Guarantee of Refund, Tax Outcome, or Government Decision

JMDL Tax does not guarantee:

  • Tax refunds

  • Refund amounts

  • Tax credits

  • Tax deductions

  • Tax liability reductions

  • Audit outcomes

  • IRS approvals

  • State tax agency approvals

  • ITIN approvals

  • Acceptance of tax filings by tax authorities

  • Resolution of tax notices or disputes

All tax filings, refunds, reviews, audits, assessments, penalties, notices, approvals, denials, and final decisions are made solely by the relevant federal, state, or local tax authority.

Estimated refunds or tax liabilities discussed during consultation or preparation are not final until the tax return has been fully reviewed, approved by the client, filed where applicable, and processed by the relevant tax authority.

Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide complete, accurate, and truthful information.

  • Submit authentic tax documents and supporting records.

  • Disclose all income, expenses, deductions, credits, dependents, business activities, foreign accounts, and other tax-related information as required by law.

  • Review all tax returns, forms, schedules, statements, and supporting documents before signing or authorizing submission.

  • Respond promptly to requests for additional information.

  • Meet filing, payment, and document submission deadlines.

  • Notify JMDL Tax immediately of any error, omission, notice, or communication received from the IRS or any tax authority.

  • Maintain copies of all records, receipts, statements, and documents used for tax preparation.

Clients are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of information provided to JMDL Tax.

JMDL Tax shall not be responsible for consequences arising from inaccurate, incomplete, false, delayed, misleading, or omitted information provided by the client.

Tax Authority Processing

IRS, state, and local tax authority processing times, refund timelines, audits, notices, adjustments, penalties, interest, offsets, approvals, denials, and final tax decisions are outside the control of JMDL Tax.

JMDL Tax shall not be liable for delays, reviews, refund holds, offsets, audits, penalties, interest, adjustments, or decisions made by the IRS or any federal, state, or local tax authority.

Client Review and Authorization

Before any tax return, amendment, form, or tax-related document is submitted, the client is responsible for reviewing the information carefully.

By signing, approving, submitting, or authorizing the filing of any tax document, the client confirms that the information is accurate, complete, and truthful to the best of their knowledge.

Electronic approval, written approval, email confirmation, text confirmation, portal approval, signature, or payment may be treated as authorization to proceed with services or filing.

Confidentiality

All client information shall be handled confidentially, subject to applicable laws, tax regulations, professional obligations, and regulatory requirements.

JMDL Tax may disclose client information where:

  • Authorized by the client;

  • Required by law;

  • Required by the IRS or another tax authority;

  • Necessary to provide requested tax services;

  • Necessary for payment processing, recordkeeping, compliance, or professional review.

Third-Party Services

JMDL Tax may use third-party tools, software, payment processors, electronic filing platforms, cloud storage systems, professional partners, or service providers to complete client services.

JMDL Tax shall not be liable for delays, outages, data issues, processing errors, system failures, or service interruptions caused by third-party providers, tax software, payment processors, government portals, or tax authority systems.

Fees and Payment

Clients agree to pay all applicable service fees, preparation fees, consultation fees, filing support fees, bookkeeping fees, advisory fees, third-party charges, and related costs.

Fees must be paid according to the payment terms provided by JMDL Tax.

JMDL Tax may pause, delay, or terminate services where required payments have not been made.

Tax preparation fees are charged for professional time, document review, tax analysis, preparation work, communication, advisory support, and administrative processing. Fees are not based solely on whether a refund is issued or whether a tax authority accepts a filing.

Limitation of Liability

JMDL Tax shall not be liable for:

  • Tax refunds being less than expected

  • No refund being issued

  • Taxes owed by the client

  • IRS or state tax agency delays

  • IRS or state tax agency audits

  • Refund offsets

  • Rejected filings caused by inaccurate or missing client information

  • Penalties or interest resulting from client delay, omission, or inaccurate information

  • Tax authority adjustments

  • Denial of credits or deductions

  • ITIN application denial or delay

  • Business losses

  • Lost opportunities

  • Consequential losses

  • Third-party errors

  • Software or system failures outside JMDL Tax’s control

To the fullest extent permitted by law, total liability shall not exceed the professional fees paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Termination

JMDL Tax reserves the right to terminate, suspend, or decline services where:

  • False, incomplete, or misleading information is provided.

  • Required documentation is withheld.

  • Payments remain outstanding.

  • The client requests an unlawful, unethical, or improper tax position.

  • The client fails to respond within a reasonable time.

  • The client is abusive, threatening, or uncooperative.

  • A conflict of interest or compliance concern arises.

  • Continued service would violate applicable law, tax rules, or professional standards.

Termination does not remove the client’s responsibility to pay for services already rendered, professional time expended, or costs incurred.

Website Use

The information provided on the JMDL Tax website is for general informational purposes only and should not be treated as legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice for any specific situation.

Use of the website does not create a tax professional-client relationship unless and until JMDL Tax formally accepts the client engagement and the client provides required information and payment where applicable.

Changes to These Terms

JMDL Tax reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms may be posted on the website and shall become effective upon posting, unless otherwise stated.
